Karen's Croutons

My mom makes bomb croutons and shared her recipe with me. Super simple and PERFECT if you have bread that is nearly stale. So great in a salad or to top any soup!! Soup recipe below is Greek Lemon Chicken Soup . Best fresh, but these save well for 2-3 days!


Bread, cut into cubes (I do just 2 pieces when I'm cooking for Jonah and I)

Olive oil

Garlic powder or garlic clove


Method Coat bread cubes in olive oil until saturated. Sprinkle generously with salt and garlic powder. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-12 minutes, start checking on them at 8 min because they go pretty quick. I pulled mine right at 10!
